WHA R4.5 vs Emma and Ryan[Above them, Midnight has wandered down from his platform of shadows to roam the silent debris of the destroyed floor. He looks around, unhurriedly. The Puppet seems to have disappeared. Well, no matter.]

[The fox spirit is still somewhere here though, underneath the debris. He can sense him, the smell of fire and leaves and wild animal... right...

[The rubble to Midnight's left explodes upwards as someone suddenly charges up from beneath it and lunges at him. Midnight is ready though, he already knew the fox was there, and slashes an arc of shadow directly at him—]

WHA R4.4 vs Emma and Ryan[Emma opens her eyes. She is lying on the brick-scattered floor, where the force of Midnight's awakening had thrown her.]

Keisa: Ow. Okay, that is not a nice way to wake up.

[Emma, eyes widening, sits straight up and looks in the direction of the voice.]

[Sitting there in front of her, on a pile of fallen stone and twisted metal, is Keisa, in his human form. His back is to her and one of his arms is supporting a half-fallen shelf of lockers, effectively keeping them both from being crushed by it.]

Keisa: Hm? [Glances behind himself, at Emma]

Emma: [stares back, speechless. Then glances down slightly, where Keisa's tail – a very obvi

This is the point where I really realised how difficult it is to transfer Net from her original written medium to comic format. It was so much easier to explain things in text than images! (In this case, I wanted to have her asking the wooden broom to split apart along the grain, but how to convey...)

I guess I'll have to work on it. /sweatdrops

And ahh, science. ♥ You know, when I think about it, Net could potentially do the same things alchemists do, i.e. manipulating matter... but then her methods would involve too much negotiation, so eh. =ヮ=

Well, we always knew she was kind of a ditz. Common sense just gets in the way of her finely tuned sense of curiosity.
