Ignition: Good bye, good night

But yes, Cassair goes to Belport one more time, for a visit that is very different to his last one. This time he brings nightmares from his own home that, while they can't technically hurt anyone, they can create enough chaos to make people hurt themselves.

That's all peripheral to his main goal though. Distractions, so he can shroud himself while he goes and finds the Regent for his assassination mission. Illusions aren't made for killing people though - there is no direct way to do any damage with them, which is the usual disadvantage of Enchanters. Instead, with a bit of creativity, there may be indirect ways, but to cast an illusion of that potency Cassair needs to touch his target's face or head, whilst also not creating any other illusions around himself.

It's a one-hit thing, basically. If he can find just a single opening where he can touch Gideon's face, it can be over.
